UX Designer – System Design – NYC (Hybrid)
System Design is hiring a talented and passionate UX Designer to join their team in New York City. This long-term hybrid role requires working 2 days a week onsite at their Broadway office. The ideal candidate is skilled at transforming complex requirements into user-friendly, visually appealing, and intuitive digital experiences.

UX Designer – Role Overview
As a UX Designer at System Design, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and UI designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and research-based design strategies. You will focus on enhancing user journeys and delivering frictionless experiences that align with product goals.
This is an opportunity to design for large-scale systems that impact thousands of users, where your design decisions will directly influence product success.
UX Designer – Key Responsibilities
1. User-Centered Design

Conduct user research and create personas based on behavioral insights.

Understand product specifications and user needs to create intuitive workflows.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping

Design and iterate wireframes and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma.

Present design concepts to stakeholders and development teams.
3. Collaboration with UI and Dev Teams

Work alongside UI designers to ensure cohesive visual styling.

Collaborate with developers to ensure design fidelity throughout implementation.
4. Usability Testing and Feedback

Lead usability tests and iterate on feedback to continuously improve the product.

Solve UX challenges such as usability, accessibility, and findability.
5. Documentation and Communication

Communicate design ideas clearly through documentation and presentations.

Maintain consistency in design guidelines across all product touchpoints.
UX Designer – Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role.

Experience in user research, persona creation, journey mapping, and interaction design.

Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.

Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with responsive and accessible design principles.

Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
