About the Role: QA Lead in Boston MA

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to support quality assurance efforts for high-impact financial systems, including trade lifecycle platforms, order management solutions, accounting systems, and reconciliation tools. This is a long-term opportunity based in Boston, MA and requires onsite presence from day one.

As a QA Lead, you will collaborate closely with internal QA teams and business stakeholders to ensure system functionality meets business goals. You will not only write and execute test cases but also act as a liaison between technical teams and investment operations.


Key Responsibilities of the QA Lead – Boston MA

  • Create and execute detailed test cases for complex financial systems such as order management, trade lifecycle, or reconciliation platforms.

  • Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA or TestRail.

  • Act as the communication bridge between QA teams and business users to clarify requirements, scope, and expectations.

  • Review existing business process documents and operational workflows for alignment with updated systems.

  • Rewrite and modernize legacy documentation in alignment with system enhancements.

  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and manage defect resolution efforts with stakeholders.

  • Recommend improvements to QA methodologies and documentation processes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex issues in simple terms.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with solid analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment.

  • Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA and TestRail.

  • Experience with test case creation and basic QA workflows.

  • Exposure to documentation work such as process flow diagrams, training materials, or end-user manuals.
