We are seeking a Snowflake Developer for a hybrid contract role based in Iselin, NJ. The focus is on sourcing treasury data into Snowflake, designing scalable data solutions, and creating treasury reports. You will work across cross-functional teams to build data pipelines, optimize performance, and deliver reliable financial reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities of a Snowflake Developer

  • Source treasury data into Snowflake and create required treasury reports.

  • Implement integrations as requested by customers and internal teams.

  • Deploy updates, fixes, and enhancements in hybrid environments.

  • Provide Level 2 technical support and perform root cause analysis for production issues.

  • Build tools to reduce error occurrences and improve customer experience.

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes, data lakes, and data warehouses.

  • Automate data ingestion with Snowpipe, AWS Glue, Copy Into, and other ingestion methods.

  • Develop automation scripts for visualization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Apply data masking, encryption, and governance policies including lineage, catalog, and classification.

  • Work within Agile and DevOps frameworks for deployment and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Snowflake development experience.

  • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, design, and performance optimization.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: Glue, Lambda, Active Directory integration.

  • Proven expertise with data ingestion methods (Snowpipe, Glue, Copy Into).

  • Experience with ETL, CDC, metadata-driven processing, and data warehouse modeling.

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, analytical algorithms, and designing for performance.

  • Hands-on experience in designing and building data warehouses and data lakes.

  • Understanding of AWS security and access control.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
