About the CyberArk Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CyberArk Specialist to join an enterprise security team in Charlotte NC with the flexibility to work remote if preferred. The ideal candidate will have over eight years of hands-on experience in CyberArk Core PAS and a proven ability to manage privileged access management (PAM) solutions at scale. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and end customers.

Key Responsibilities for CyberArk Specialist

As a CyberArk Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing CyberArk version upgrades to maintain system security and stability

  • Managing and maintaining core CyberArk components such as PVWA, PSM, CPM, and PSMP

  • Onboarding accounts across Windows, Linux, and databases including Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, and MySQL

  • Overseeing the onboarding of application and service accounts into CyberArk

  • Supporting disaster recovery activities including failover and failback within CyberArk PAM

  • Administering safes and managing privileged accounts including password and session management

  • Collaborating with internal project teams and stakeholders to enhance PAM solutions

  • Providing expertise in Active Directory, LDAP, and MFA including SAML and Azure SSO integrations

Preferred Skills and Added Advantages

While not required, the following skills will set you apart:

  • CyberArk Defender Certification

  • Experience customizing existing connection components or plugins

  • Knowledge of CyberArk Application Access Manager (AAM) integrations
