About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer to support an existing enterprise application while helping migrate, redevelop and integrate it into a new platform. The work covers Java development, Oracle database management, API integration, application troubleshooting and ongoing system maintenance. It suits a developer who is as comfortable keeping a live system healthy as building what comes next.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain and enhance enterprise-level Java applications




• Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues and resolve application defects




• Support the migration from the current application to its replacement, including data conversion and system integration




• Develop, consume and modify APIs to support application integration




• Write, optimize and troubleshoot Oracle SQL queries, procedures and database structures




• Monitor application performance and resolve complex technical issues




• Work with technical teams and project stakeholders to reach project milestones




• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer

What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development




• Advanced Oracle SQL and database development skills




• Experience developing, consuming and modifying APIs




• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and tuning enterprise applications




• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude




• Dashboard development with Power BI or Tableau




• The ability to work independently while collaborating well with technical teams
