.NET Developer Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role requires hands-on experience with VB.NET, ASP.NET Web Forms, and Microsoft Visual Studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining web applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring a face-to-face interview.


Key Responsibilities for .NET Developer :

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using VB.NET and ASP.NET Web Forms.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs.

  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with PCI, SOX, and PII security standards.

  • Utilize Microsoft SQL Server for database development and maintenance.

  • Implement and maintain FTP processes for data exchange.


.NET Developer mandatory skills and experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio Development.

  • Strong experience in .NET Web Application Development.

  • Hands-on experience with VB.NET.

  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Web Forms.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Stored Procedures.

  • Understanding of FTP protocols and implementations.

  • Experience with Git for version control.

  • Solid grasp of object-oriented design principles.

  • Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.

  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud, Terraform & Kubernetes.


.NET Developer preferred skills and experience:

  • Experience with .NET MVC framework.

  • Familiarity with C# programming language.

  • Exposure to ASP application support.

  • Knowledge of security processes and standards.

  • Airline industry experience is a plus.


Educational Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
