About the Embedded Test Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Test Engineer to join our team in Acton, MA. This is a full-time onsite role, requiring your presence in the office five days a week. The position is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in embedded hardware testing, Bluetooth protocol tools, and device validation. Key Responsibilities for Embedded Test Engineer
- Conduct end-to-end functional testing and validation for embedded devices under development.
- Perform whitebox testing, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Work extensively on mobile devices and applications testing.
- Execute test cases using Bluetooth protocol tools such as Sodera and nRF sniffers, along with Power Analyzer tools.
- Collaborate with product teams to review customer requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Develop detailed test cases, functional test plans, and testing approaches.
- Configure test hardware and boards to ensure accurate evaluation.
- Maintain test cases, test scripts, and documentation aligned with QA standards.
- Track and report quality assurance metrics such as defect densities, defect counts, and code coverage.
- Create test environments to simulate real-world usage and capture accurate results.
- Lead functional testing activities while identifying risks and ensuring compliance.
Skills and Qualifications for Embedded Test Engineer Role
- Proven experience in embedded device and hardware testing.
- Proficiency in Bluetooth protocol testing tools (Sodera, nRF sniffers) and Power Analyzer tools.
- Practical knowledge of Python and Appium is a plus.
- Strong understanding of test hardware and embedded boards.
- Familiarity with mobile device and mobile application testing.
