SAP Boomi Integration Consultant

Are you an experienced SAP Boomi Integration Consultant looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, building, deploying, and supporting end-to-end EDI integrations between SAP S/4HANA RISE and SPS Commerce. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely from Georgia or occasionally onsite, with a competitive pay rate of $95/hr (C2C).

About the Role

As a SAP Boomi Integration Consultant, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of EDI integrations, ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange for various wholesale EDI transactions, including POs, ASNs, and invoices. You will lead stakeholder workshops to capture EDI needs, define mappings, and build integration processes. Your expertise will be essential in driving system testing, deployment, and ongoing support, making sure that all integrations function smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Lead stakeholder workshops to capture EDI needs (PO 850, ASN 856, Invoice 810, etc.).
Define mappings between SAP IDocs/BAPIs and SPS Commerce EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
Build and unit-test Boomi integration processes (transformations, error handling).
Configure secure transports (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS) and API endpoints.
Drive system/UAT testing with simulated EDI transactions.
Lead cut-over, deploy integrations, validate live flows, and manage hypercare.
Monitor interfaces, troubleshoot, and optimize performance.
Create interface design docs, run-books, and ops guides.
Train support teams on Boomi process management and EDI exception handling.

Required Skills

3+ years designing/delivering Boomi middleware integrations.
Boomi Professional Developer Certification (preferred).
Strong background integrating SPS Commerce EDI (PO 850, ASN 856, Invoice 810).
Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA IDocs, BAPI calls for wholesale/B2B scenarios.
Strong data transformation skills (XML, JSON, XSLT).
Excellent communication skills, able to translate business needs to technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP Retail/Wholesale implementation on S/4HANA RISE.
3PL integration knowledge (shipment events, ASN acknowledgments).
Agile delivery experience (JIRA/Confluence).
Exposure to SAP CPI/CPI-DS or hybrid integration platforms.
