Resume Writing
Your resume should tell the story your career already earned.
I rewrite your resume around what you achieved, not only what you were responsible for. It is written for the roles you want and kept clear enough for both recruiters and applicant tracking systems.
Written by someone who has spent more than 18 years reading resumes from the hiring side.
The service
Most resumes list duties. Recruiters are looking for evidence.
From the hiring side I see the same pattern again and again. Titles, tools and responsibilities fill the page while the real impact stays hidden.
Resume Writing is where I fix that. I learn what you actually did, decide what matters for the role you want next and write a resume that makes it easy to see. Every resume is written from scratch around your career. No templates filled in with your job titles.
Who it helps
Built for professionals whose resume undersells them.
IT and software professionals
Your projects and stack are strong but the resume reads like a list of technologies. I show what you built and why it mattered.
Data and business analysts
Your work drives decisions. Your resume should show which ones and what changed because of them.
Project managers
Delivery, stakeholders and scope are hard to show in bullet points. I help make them visible.
Students, graduates and career changers
You have education, projects and transferable skills. I help you present them for your first or next step.

What’s included
What you get when we work together.
Resume Writing is a complete rewrite, not a light edit. Here is what that involves.
A career conversation
Before anything is written we talk through your background, your goals and the roles you are targeting.
A full rewrite
Your resume is restructured and rewritten around your achievements and the direction you want to go.
ATS-friendly formatting
A clean, readable layout that applicant tracking systems can parse and recruiters can scan quickly.
Your review and input
You see the draft, ask questions and suggest changes before anything is final.
My career-journey approach
I don’t just read your resume. I read your journey.
Most people read a resume from the top. I start at the bottom, with where your career began, and work my way up. By the time I reach your current role I understand how you got there and what your resume needs to say next.
Foundation
Your education, first roles and the skills everything else was built on.
Progression
How your responsibility, scope and trust grew over time.
Transitions
The moves between roles, companies or fields and why they made sense.
Achievements
What changed because you were there, not just what you were assigned.
Missing pieces
What is true about you but not visible on the page yet.
Next opportunity
How all of it should be positioned for the role you want.
I can’t promise you a job, an interview or a salary. What I can promise is that your experience will be presented clearly, honestly and with your next opportunity in mind.
The engagement process
How a Resume Writing engagement works.

FAQs
Questions people ask before we start.
Who do you usually write resumes for?
My background is US IT staffing, so most of my work is with IT, software, data, business analysis and project management professionals, plus students and recent graduates. If you work in another field, get in touch and I’ll tell you honestly whether I’m the right fit.
Will my resume work with applicant tracking systems?
I keep the layout clean and the language aligned with the roles you are targeting so applicant tracking systems can read it. No one can honestly promise how a particular system will score a resume, and I won’t.
What do I need to share with you?
Your current resume if you have one, the kinds of roles you are aiming for and anything about your work that is not on the page yet. We cover the rest in our conversation.
Will I see the resume before it is final?
Yes. You are involved at every stage. You review the draft and we refine it together before it is final.
How much does it cost and how long does it take?
That depends on where you are in your career and what you need. We agree on the details together before any work starts.
Can you guarantee interviews or a job offer?
No. I can’t promise you a job, an interview or a salary. What I can promise is that your experience will be presented clearly, honestly and with your next opportunity in mind.
Do you also update LinkedIn profiles?
Yes. LinkedIn Optimization is a separate service. Many people start with their resume and then bring their LinkedIn profile in line with it.
